Robert Novaks article today in Town hall .com says Israel and the US has missed a chance to have peace in the Middle East. Sorry Bob, but you left out a few things. First thing is Egypt and Jordan have failed to turn other Arab countries to join with them a working peace with Israel. Every plan that has been brokered by the US has been either not followed, completely ignorred, or used just to rearm and retrain more Islamic militants based on the total destruction of Israel. Israel , in sober thinking should not ever , ever go back to the pre-1967 borders. To also allow so-called Palestinians to return to a country they swore to destroy is foolish, and would do away with the only Jewish majority nation on the planet.
Arab countries have failed to broker a real peace, give citizenship to so-called Palestinian refugees due to the constant threat of so-called Palestinians terrorism which is why they have thrown out of Tunisia, Jordan, Kuwait, just to name a few. The problem in the Middle East lies with the leaders of the Arab League that has refused to recognize Israel's right to exist, and have left their Arab brothers to suffer at the hands of not Israelis, but by tyrannical, dictorial leaders who have kept their people in poverty while rolling in petro dollars.
Israel is the only country that has lived up to the peace deals by giving up the Gaza Strip, Sinai for peace. Please pray tell what have the Muslim nations done to begin to bring an olive branch to the tables except to provide aid and assistance to Arab extremists bent on destroying Israel, and actively seeking genocide against Jews.

stands almost alone. Arab countries have not gained the trust of us that are freedom lovers.One must only look at the record of Arab League countries to see why Israel is cautious. To lower ones shields while an overwhelming oppressor lies at the waters and borders edge is foolish. Bob Novak is a darn good writer, and has my respect over the years. This article again shows even the brightest of media, though whose intent is good, is just damn wrong on this.
